Parker Technical Services appoints new regional director to support growth
Parker Technical Services has appointed Barry Taylor into the newly created regional director role to support its long term growth plans.
Barry joins from Online Design & Engineering Limited where he was operations manager. Prior to that, he was director of Grimsby based Blackrow Group.
Welcoming Barry to the business, Stuart Driscoll, managing director, Parker, said: “Barry is a great appointment for Parker. He brings a wealth of experience to the business and will play a key role in our growth plans. Across the group, we’re investing in people and technology to make sure we continue to deliver engineering excellence to our customers.”
Operating from the Louth office, Barry will be responsible for developing the Parker business in the East of England and also takes responsibility for the industrial and infrastructure areas of the organisation.
Commenting on his appointment, Barry said: “I’m joining Parker at an exciting time. The business has clear growth plans and the complementary services offered across the group are a huge opportunity. The business was a great fit for me. As someone who started out as an apprentice, it’s great to work in a business that takes the recruitment of young people, and the development of every employee seriously. I’m really looking forward to developing the team in the East and being part of the next chapter of the group.”
