As Head of Learning and Development you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the company’s internal training academy. This role involves creating awareness, driving engagement, and increasing participation in training programs among employees.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the internal training academy.
  • Identify target audiences within the company and tailor marketing strategies to meet their needs.

Content Creation:

  • Create engaging and informative content for various marketing channels, including emails, intranet, newsletters, and social media.
  • Develop promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and videos to highlight training programs and success stories.
  • Write compelling copy that resonates with employees and encourages participation in training programs.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote upcoming training sessions, workshops, and events.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials.

Employee Engagement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting the benefits of the training academy.
  • Organize and host informational sessions, webinars, and Q&A sessions to engage employees and address their questions.
  • Collect and analyse feedback from employees to improve marketing strategies and training offerings.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing efforts and training participation.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Learning and Development on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Use data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the Operational Teams to understand training programs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Communications, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with employees to gather insights and feedback

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the Learning and Development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Evaluate and select training materials and resources, negotiating contracts with vendors as needed.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Introduce modern learning tools and technologies to enhance employee performance and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organisation.

skills and experiences

  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, such as email marketing software, social media, and intranet systems.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for employee development and continuous learning.
  • Experience in marketing training or educational programs.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Knowledge of internal communication best practices.
  • The ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a Learning and Development excellent communication skills, and a passion for employee development.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full UK driving license
  • Proven experience in a senior learning and development role, with a track record of successful program implementation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
